”Local Action Fair”

Making it Easy for You
and Your Family to be
Involved In Our Community

Celebrating the
Spirit of Involvement

Thursday February 19th 7:30 PM
Olympic View Elementary
(NE 95th at 8th NE)

Organizations serving North Seattle will have tables and discuss how you and your family can be involved. Featuring: food banks, tutoring programs, community councils, groups working to save trees, improve our local schools, improve our parks, or address development and transportation issues.

Learn about the work of many local non-profits and community groups serving our District. Find out how you can help - whether you have an hour a month or ten hours to volunteer, high school community service hours to earn, or how your emails and comments help our community.

The Local Action Fair will feature over two dozen local groups.

Questions or info: Gerry Pollet, Program chair (gerry-pollet@msn.com), or Elizabeth Willmott, Outreach chair (elizabethwillmott1977@gmail.com)

The 46th District Democrats would like to thank all of the organizations serving our community's needs and their volunteers. We were pleased to host our first (annual) Local Action Fair on February 19th to connect our members and the public with the wonderful work and volunteer opportunities of the following groups. Please use this guide to offer your time to help in our community, or if a student is looking for community service hours.
