The 2008 Washington State Convention

The State Convention is on Saturday, June 14th, in Spokane. Official notice shall be given at least ten (10) days in advance to each delegate and alternate and to the news media by the State Party Chair.

The business of the State Convention shall include the election of (2) Presidential Electors and Alternates, one male and one female each. Workshops may be held at the discretion of the State Party Chair. There will be approximately 1,600 elected delegates and 800 elected alternates to the State Convention.

The voluntary state convention registration fee shall be $50.00. No person shall be excluded or disqualified at any level on the basis of non-payment of such registration or any fee, but these conventions are expensive to conduct. Please help support our state party as we approach the actual election. Every dollar goes to electing Democrats.
